The Location search tools can be accessed through the "Location" dropdown on the Main Menu. When this dropdown is selected, three sections are visible: Boundaries, Route, and Political.
Function
The Location dropdown provides the ability to search for a route or a location on a route, including boundary and political areas. Data that meets location search criteria and the additional filters provided by one or more of the information types will be displayed in this search.
Search
The Location dropdown coincides with the function of the information type categories (Projects, Road Inventory, Traffic, Bridges, Pavement, Rail, TSI, and Safety). When selected, the location information will appear in the Criteria pop-up on the right side of the screen. Location filters cannot be used alone; instead, they must be paired with one or more selections in the information type categories before running a search.
