All information found here occurs in the Data Sources interface, accessible from the System Administration tab.

When a user is trying to configure a data source, they can select the "Web Service" option from the Data Source Type picklist. This will trigger the following interface to appear:

Create

To create a web service data source, follow these steps:

1. Fill out the connection parameter fields. The Service Directory and Service parameters are required when managing a web service data source type. Further descriptions of these fields will be given in the section below.
2. After all parameters have a value, click the "Save Changes" button.

Field Descriptions

The fields found in the "Web Service" Data Type are described below for clarity.

• Service Directory -- URL of the web server.
• Service -- Name of the web service.
• Shortcut -- Name of the data source. This is the name that will appear in all data source picklists.
