The Sample Limits interface () provides options to generate a CSV or text file of sample locations. This interface can be accessed on the Submittals tab; it is in the Section Files section.

Create

To create a file in the interface, follow these steps:

1. Select a data table in the "Data Table" dropdown.
2. Select either CSV or Text in the "File Type" dropdown.
3. Select an option in the "Generate File(s) By" picklist: All Samples, Route Type, or Select Route(s).
   • If "All Samples" is selected, no additional selections must be made.
   • If "Route Type" is selected, the user must then select one or more checkbox (Interstate, State, Inventory, Ramps, and/or New Construction) manually or through the "Select All" link.
   • If "Select Route(s)" is selected, the user must enter a complete Route LRS using the picklists. Then, the "Add Route" button can be used to select the route and display its ID in the box on the righthand side. Multiple routes can be selected before the file is generated.
4. Select the "Create File(s)" button located at the bottom of the interface.

The resulting Sample Limits file will include the following header columns: BeginDate, StateID, RouteID, BeginPoint, EndPoint, SampleID, and Comments.
