The Data Tables interface-- opened through the Data Tables icon on the System Administration tab-- hosts many controls throughout its internal tabs and static button functionalities. In order to easily navigate this interface, all controls and their purposes are described in this article. The Data Table dropdown control is present on this interface, alongside these controls:

| Set Official Button | Static on Interface | Set the selected Data Table as Official; opens the Set Official Data Table window. |
| Populate Data Table/Refresh Data Button | Static on Interface | Populate the data table after configuring the route/data items in the interface. This button will change to "Refresh Data" to allow edits once the table is populated. |
| Delete Data Table Button | Static on Interface | Delete the Data Table displayed. |
| Save Changes Button | Static on Interface | Save changes applied in the Data Table Configuration interface. |
| Discard Changes Button | Static on Interface | Discard changes temporarily applied in the Data Table configuration interface. |
| Save Data Table as Source Button | Static on Interface | Save the current Data Table as a data source table for new overlays. This is useful for creating new overlays where a previous overlay may be the most current representation of specific data items. |

| Is R&H Checkbox | Required Items Tab | Specify whether the Route data is a Roads and Highways (R&H) data source; a selection here (check or uncheck) will determine the other fields available in the tab. |

| Network Name Dropdown | Required Items Tab (R&H) | Select the route network; auto-filled after selecting a Map Service. |
