The Station Options section of the Stations tab contains common settings that will be used when stations are added and edited. These settings are described in the table below.
| Setting | Description |
| Snapping On | When the user clicks on a route to identify a location, the system will automatically snap to the closet milepoint of the selected "Snap To" feature if this checkbox is selected. |
| Snap To | This picklist allows the user to identify the feature to which snapping applies. The available options are Functional Class and Facility Type. |
| Tolerance | This textbox allows the user to specify how precise the snapping tool should operate. |
| Go To Next Measure On Save | Upon saving a station, the system will automatically pre-populate the location area with the same route and next logical From Measure if this checkbox is selected. If the user is at the end of the route, they will receive a message and the location area will be cleared so that additional stations may be added to another route. If this checkbox is not selected, the location area will also be cleared after saving a station. |
