The Map and Interactive Controls ribbon is located between the Main Menu and Map Frame. This ribbon primarily provides methods of interacting with the EGIS Viewer Map Frame.

Controls

The following controls are offered on this ribbon:

Icon	Name	Used To...
	Map Search	Enter a street name, address, or route number and click "Search" to navigate to a specific location or project.
	Select from Map	Click on the icon and then a location on the map to retrieve a list of routes near the location or a route confirmation.
	Show Legend	Open the Layer Control, or the Legend, on the Map Frame. The Legend can be removed from the Map Frame by clicking the "Hide Legend" link.
	Select Basemap	Open a list of available basemaps.
	Zoom to State	Zoom the map to the State boundary.
	Window Area	Change the mouse control to Zoom to a user defined area.
	Zoom to Query Results	Zoom the map to the results of a currently defined query.
	Map Display Options	Edit the query and layer display options using the 5 available controls: Show Lines at Zoom Level (picklist) and Show Bridges, Show Projects, Show Construction Bulletin, and Save Display Selection (checkboxes).
	Print Map	Open a Windows Print Dialog to print the map at its current size and display.
	Output to KML	Open a dialog for exporting the current map and search results to a KML map for viewing in Google Earth. A color for the query results can be selected in the pop-up before exporting.
	Identify Features	Click on any of the GIS features displayed on the map and retrieve basic information.
	Clear Map	Clear the current search criteria and results displayed on the map.
	Feedback	Send an email with feedback on the EGIS Viewer application.
	Help	Access this help guide.
	Login	Log in to the application to access extended features and tools, including Standard Reports, Safety data, System Administration, and Load/Save Search.
