There are sixteen icons located under the Map tab.
The table below lists these icons and their function.
| Icon | Name | Used To... |
| Full Extent | Zoom the Map to the initial, full extent of the application. | |
| Clear Queries | Clear the query results from the map. | |
| Zoom In | Zoom the Map in one level. If a route or counter is mapped, it will be centered as the map zooms in. | |
| Zoom Out | Zoom the Map out one level. | |
| Zoom Area | Zoom the Map to a user drawn extent. To use this tool, the user can click the icon, then click and drag on the map to make a rectangle area to zoom to. | |
| Previous Extent | Zoom the Map to the previous map extent. | |
| Next Extent | Zoom the Map to the next map extent. | |
| Zoom to City or County | Open a pop-up to select a city or county to zoom to. Once a city or county is selected, the "Map" button can be clicked to zoom to the selection and outline the city/county in yellow. | |
| Identify Feature | Click on any of the GIS features displayed on the map and retrieve basic information. | |
| Identify Route | Click on any of the routes displayed on the map and retrieve basic information. | |
| Year | Choose a year to see data corresponding to that year. | |
| Route | Display four picklists (County, Route Type, Route Number, and Direction) to find traffic data across an entered route. | |
| Counter | Display two picklists (County and Station) to find traffic data for the counter that corresponds to the entered information. | |
| Continuous Count Station (CCS) # | Display one picklist (CCS #) to find traffic data for the corresponding permanent counter. Note: Only permanent counters have CCS numbers. | |
| More Filters | Open a pop-up with more filters for a query. Once the intended filters are filled, the user can click the "Find" button to populate the table below. Then, the user can click one or multiple rows and click the "Map" button. | |
| Basemap | Choose a backdrop to the GIS layers and business data. |
