The Summary Data interface allows the privileged user to prepare text files for HPMS submittal. When the user clicks on this icon (), they can select from three types of summary data: NAAQS, Non-Federal Aid, and Vehicle.
NAAQS
The NAAQS Summaries table allows the privileged user to create the NAAQS data that will be submitted to HPMS. This interface has some important controls:
| Control | Description |
| Year | This picklist hosts all current and previous years of Traffic data stored within the TDM system. |
| Add Row | This link allows the user to add a blank row to the next available space on the table. Then, the user can fill in the Pollutant Standard, RMC L System Length, and RMC L System Travel fields for the new row. |
| Delete Checked Row(s) | This link can be used to delete a table row. The user must first select the checkbox(es) by the desired row, then click this link to remove it. |
| Export to Delimited File |
This link creates a text file with the first row containing the Text File Field Names separated by pipe (|) symbols and the subsequent rows containing data separated in the same manner. The current Text File Field Names are:

| Save Changes | This button will save the data in the interface table to the database table TrafficHPMSNAAQSSummaries. |
| Discard Changes | This button will discard any changes made since the last save. |
Non-Federal Aid
The Non-Federal Aid Summaries table allows the privileged user to create the Non-Federal Aid data that will be submitted to HPMS. This interface has some important controls:
| Control | Description |
| Year | This picklist hosts all current and previous years of Traffic data stored within the TDM system. |
| Other Summarized AADT | These textboxes allow the user to enter values for these three fields: Rural - Local AADT, Rural - Minor Collector AADT, and Small Urban - Local AADT. |
| Recalculate |
This button instigates a recalculation of all rows where the Override checkbox has not been selected; if any unsaved changes exist on the table, the user must save them before performing this action. |
| Validate |
This button allows the user to validate the table rows. Once performed, a message will appear to tell the user if any validation errors were found. |
| Override | These checkboxes allow the user to manually enter data for one or more records. The Average AADT, Number of Miles, State Portion Population, State Portion Land, and Comments fields will be editable for the row once the Override checkbox is selected. |
| Export to Delimited File |
This link creates a text file with the first row containing the Text File Field Names separated by pipe (|) symbols and the subsequent rows containing data separated in the same manner. The current Text File Field Names are:

Vehicle
The Vehicle Summaries interface allows the privileged user to create the Vehicle data that will be submitted to HPMS. This interface has some important controls:

| Recalculate |
This button instigates a recalculation of all rows where the Override checkbox has not been selected; if any unsaved changes exist on the table, the user must save them before performing this action. The percentages will be calculated by using raw classification data for the selected year. |
| Override | These checkboxes allow the user to manually enter data for one or more records. The % Motorcycles, % Cars, % Light Trucks, % Buses, % SU Trucks, and % CU Trucks fields will be editable for the row once the Override checkbox is selected. |
| Export Vehicle Data |
This link exports an Excel file of the HPMS Summary Vehicle data for the selected year. |
| Export to Delimited File |
