The Segments Tab is used to view the chosen Work Package's segments on the map and to select the segment intended for data collection.
Controls
The Segments Tab hosts some controls which are important to usability in the Mobile application.
| Control | Used To... |
| Table | Trigger the selection of a segment on the map and the appearance of the Map Pop-Up by clicking a table row. |
| Mapped Segments | View the mapped location of the segment and click on it to view the Map Pop-Up information. |
| Map Pop-Up | Show some data on the chosen segment and allow the user to click it, populating the Left/Right, Center, Left, and Right tabs. |
Segment Colors
The segments on the map will appear in different colors depending on their data collection status. The available colors and their meanings are listed in the table below.
| Color | Meaning |
| Red | This segment has not yet been edited; no data has been collected. |
| Blue | The collection is in progress. |
| Black | The collection has been marked as complete or validated. |
Select a Segment
In order to populate the Data Collection tabs with data (Left/Right, Center, Left, and Right), the user must select a segment on this tab. To select a segment, the user can click a table row or a segment on the map. Then, a Map Pop-Up will appear above the segment on the map. The user can click this pop-up to populate the Data Collection tabs with the selected segment's data and redirect them to the Left/Right tab.
