The Yearly interface allows the user to access the yearly averages for permanent sites. This interface allows the user to work with permanent yearly averages or AADT values depending on the year selected and whether the year has been closed or is still in the process of being collected.

Filter

To use this interface, the user must first select the desired criteria in the "Year" and "CCS" picklists. Then, the data will be automatically populated in the table.

The user may also use the More Filters link to find a counter if a more specific search is necessary. The More Filters interface will resemble the image below, and it will have twelve filter options: Year, County, Route Type, Route Number, Between Milepoints, Direction, CCS, Station, Rural/Urban, Urban Area, Functional Class, and Counter Description. The user can utilize one filter or a combination of filters, then select the "Find" button. This will fill the "Yearly" table with the related results. 

After filtering the table through the Select Year, CCS, or More Filters fields, it will display the associated information.

Query Results

On the table, the user will be able to view the CCS number, County, Description, Route ID, Previous Year AADT, an override checkbox, current year AADT, and the Annual Growth percentage. All current year AADT fields that have not been overridden will be automatically re-calculated each time a permanent site is displayed in this interface.

Edit AADT

If the user has access to this interface (i.e. the "Permanent Sites Yearly AADT" user permission), the current year AADT can be overridden by checking the override checkbox for the desired row. This interface will be grayed out and unable to be entered at all if the user does not have permissions for it. When the override checkbox is checked for a row, the current year AADT field ("[YYYY] Average") will become editable, allowing the user to enter a new value. This overridden value will be considered the final value for the permanent site and will not be re-computed by the system as long as the override checkbox remains checked. If the checkbox was checked and the user unchecks this checkbox, a new value will be recalculated and will automatically replace the previously overridden value.

Before exiting the interface, the "Save Changes" button must be selected to solidify any edits. If the user wishes to revert the fields to their original values, the "Discard Changes" button can be selected.

NOTE: AADT is not calculated for the current year. Therefore, the override checkbox will be disabled if the sites are displayed for the current year being collected ("Select Year" value).
